FirstLook at Versace S/S 2013 Part 1

Hey Fashionistas,

Over the weekend I caught a glimpse of the Versace Spring/Summer 2013 Collection. We were front row and Stacy Mckenzie was the host of the show. She was dressed in a sexy bright yellow tailored suit (of course Versace). I was recording and taking pictures at the same time with my new android and did not realize that my hands were shaking. So I apologize in advance for the blurry images. Unfortunately, Instagram gave me some technical difficulties near the end of me posting these pics. So Stacy McKenzie's outfit and the other half of the show is going to have to wait till tomorrow. In the meantime have a look and enjoy the first part of the Versace Collection. ;-)

You can catch the real Versace show in Milan sometime next week. I will let you all know when.

To Fashion Members

Dear Fashionistas,

We would like to first thank you for coming out to York Fest to sign up for our club. We met a lot of people interested in joining and we hope to see you guys at our upcoming events. We met a lot of students interested in joining as well as wanting to join our team. Keep in mind we have already filled up positions for this years F.A.Y. team, but you can always apply next year, which will most likely take place at the end of the year in April and in May. For those who are interested in volunteering, we are always looking for volunteers for the fashion show which will be taking place in February. We usually start looking for volunteers around January. If you are interested in photography or anything else, message one of the execs on Facebook and we will be happy to help.

For those who couldn't find us or who weren't sure about joining, it's never too late. Join us on Facebook and on ConnectU to become a member of our club. Like we said yesterday, this year we are really trying to make it all about the members to get them more involved, especially if you guys are interested in Fashion. We have speakers coming in to talk to us, movie nights and, of course, fashion shows. Keep in touch with us through, Facebook, Twitter and our blog. New York Fashion Week will soon be coming to an end but the fashion shows have not stopped. Next stop is London. Let us know on our blog of Facebook what you thought of NYFW and what or who you look forward to seeing in London. We look forward to hearing from you.

Welcome Back !

Welcome back former and newest York Fashionista Members. I would like to welcome you back to a new year, with two new presidents and a great fashionable year ahead of us. With events happening each month starting tomorrow (York Fest), I would like to say that we are in for a very busy but fun year. One that includes both the members and the F.A.Y. Team. If you have any ideas or questions please feel free to message us through facebook or at our email address fashionatyork@gmail.com. We will be pleased to help you.

So to get our first appearance started we will be at York Fest which will be taking place outside on the campus walk tomorrow (Wednesday). There have been a few changes recently as to where our table will be but if you can't find us email me atserina_m4@hotmail.com or contact us or me through facebook. We will be able to help you. We'll be there all day from 10am-5pm. Sign up sheets will be handed out for anyone who wishes to become a member of our fashion club, and, of course, you could win prizes including Vogue's September issue. If you are not able to come out tomorrow visit us on facebook and CONNECTU to become a member. Remember members its actually important for you to become a member on CONNECTU or you won't be able to take part in any activities that we have going on this year. So please make sure to do so.
